
Ellen Hanson
Ellen Hanson brings a unique blend of personal insight and leadership expertise across the public, private, and consulting sectors to Serenity Mode and Serenity Care Partners boards. With extensive experience serving on other diverse boards, her background spans governance, strategy, transformation, and change leadership, enabling her to ask the right questions and provide meaningful perspectives that support informed decision-making.
Ellen takes a forward-looking approach, drawing on her experience in both smaller, growth-oriented organisations and in leading complex functions and sensitive change initiatives. Most recently, she was Head of Enterprise Portfolio and Change at the City of Casey, where she oversaw a major transformation program, building organisational capability in project and change management, establishing high-performing teams, and guiding enterprise-level change maturity uplift. Prior to this, she led Victoria Police’s Program Management Advisory function, providing governance and delivery oversight of more than $3 billion in major ICT and organisational projects. Her earlier career includes management consulting at EY and leadership roles with GE Capital.
Ellen holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. She is committed to fostering collaboration and engagement, contributing to cohesive, high-performing boards, and supporting organisations to deliver sustainable and impactful outcomes.
