Stanika Rjazancew-Djurdjevic

Stanika Rjazancew-Djurdjevic is a recognised leader in aged care governance and reform, with more than 40 years of nursing experience and over 27 years in executive roles across both private and not-for-profit organisations. She has successfully led initiatives in funding reform, governance, clinical quality, and the development of sustainable care models that respond to the sector’s evolving needs.

Her career includes senior leadership appointments and a role as Funding Auditor with the Department of Health and Ageing, where she advanced transparency and accountability in aged care funding. She has also provided consultancy services to not-for-profit boards, advising on strategy, governance, and sector reform.

In addition to her executive leadership, Stanika has contributed to higher education as a sessional lecturer in the Department of Business and Law at Swinburne University, and she continues to mentor emerging professionals.

She holds a Bachelor of Nursing, a Masters in Management (Strategic Foresight), a Masters in Global Leadership, and a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
